MOMENT — PT Momen Global Internasional — is a Surabaya health and nutrition company founded in 2012, with product research in Singapore and Malaysia and a community of partners across Indonesia. In 2022 it completed this new headquarters: not only a head office, but a place for that community to gather, to learn, and to grow together. Leonardo Architect Studio gave the building a calm, grounded presence and a crown wrapped in a hand-woven screen by BYOLiving. Behind the weave, ARTEMI's glazing carries daylight deep into the floors — from the auditorium's glass wall to the slender glass bridges that cross the building's central void.

Shaped Like Water

For the interior, Domisilium Studio took MOMENT’s idea of itself — a company that gives without end, like a fountain — and made it the architecture of the rooms. Water became the guiding figure: adaptable, persistent, quietly nourishing. Ceilings curve and pour, walls bend, and one space flows into the next, so that the building reads less as a stack of offices than as a single, continuous current — a place made for a community to gather, learn and move together.

Architect & Interior

The architecture of MOMENT is the work of Leonardo Architect Studio, led by Leonardo — a senior Surabaya architect, and a friend of this practice, who has since passed away. His building gives the headquarters its quiet civic presence: a grounded base, a woven crown, and a section opened up by light. We remember him, and his generosity, with gratitude. The interior is by Domisilium Studio, the Jakarta- and Bali-based practice founded in 2009 by Santi Alaysius and Hamphrey Tedja. Known for hospitality work with Marriott, Hyatt and Accor — and for Kosenda, among Indonesia’s first design hotels — the studio shaped MOMENT’s idea of giving into water: fluid, generous, and made for people to gather.
